Beer Parlour Attendant Stabs Customer Over N20

A beer parlour attendant stabbed on of its customers with bottle in Byazhin area of Kubwa, Abuja, over a disagreement which ensued because of N20 balance.

According to report, the victim, a middle aged man had gone drink at the beer parlour on May 14. He ordered a bottle of beer which he negotiated to pay N200 for, instead of N220.

An anonymous source said the victim's request was supported by some other persons who were at the bar.

After he was done with his beer, he gave the attendant N1,000, but instead of receiving a balance of N800 from him, received N780.

An argument ensued between the customer and the attendant which generated into a fight and in the process, the attendant picked up a bottle, broke it and stabbed the man on the hand.

The victim was quickly rushed to the Kubwa General Hospital for medical attention. 

When contacted, the head, Accident and Emergency unit of the hospital, Paul Olise, confirmed the incident, adding that the victim is undergoing treatment.
