Thereby presently the number of the abducted girls has risen from 8 to 11. The locals claim that the victims of abduction could be much more.

After the attack the Warabe residents fled the village and contacted AFP to clearify the situation. It was learnt that the insurgents purposefully went from house to house searching for girls on Sunday night. Also some parts of the village was set on fire.
