DriverCrushed To Death By Trailer In Abuja
A commercial motorcyclist met his untimely death on April 26, Saturday after he was crushed to death by a trailer at the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) Estate Junction, Lugbe, along the Abuja Airport road.
According to an eyewitness, the deceased who had just dropped off a passenger at the junction in a bid to avoid hitting a woman, lost control of the motorcycle and before he could regain control, was crushed beyond recognition by the trailer.
A policeman at the scene, however, said if the deceased who have not have lost his life had he adhere to the ban of motorcyclists dropping passengers at the junction.
“He said: As a result of regular occurrence of accidents, the government posted policemen to the junction but accidents still occur and claim lives,” .
