Police Arrest Four Over Lynching Of Female Kidnapper

Officers of the Kwara State Police Command have arrested four persons for allegedly lynching a suspected female kidnapper at Adeta area of the state. 

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Ajayi Okasanmi, who made this known to newsmen on Wednesday, confirmed that the suspected kidnapper was lynched by a mob at Adeta Roundabout.

He said another suspected female kidnapper, who was caught with three children on Tuesday, was rescued at the Ganmo area.

Okasanmi, who warned residents to stop taking the laws into their hands, also revealed how a middle aged woman narrowly escaped being lynched by a mob following the timely intervention of the police.

The PPRO urged the residents to be law abiding and avoid unlawful conducts.
