Fulani Herdsmen Confess to Being Part of Boko Haram

Arrested for attacks in Wukari, Taraba State, some Fulani herdsmen have confessed to acting on behalf of the Boko Haram sect of insurgents.

The military recovered a large party of a arms and ammunition from them.

According to the Nigerian Defense Headquarters, one of the apprehended armed men confessed to being part of the terrorist group Borno and Yobe states.

Members of the group were detected by air surveillance and trailed to their camp where a gunfight ensued.

It was hard for residents of the area to recognize the insurgents because of their dressing pattern which resemble military outfits.
