Police Arrest 26-Year-Old Man For murder

Officers of the Gombe State Police Command, on Tuesday said it arrested a 26-year-old applicant, Job Danladi, for allegedly killing his friend, Peter Mela.

DSP Fwaje Atajiri, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who made this known to newsmen said the the suspect stole the deceased motorcycle after killing him.

The force spokesman said that the suspect told the deceased to convey him with his motorcycle from Billiri town to Kufai village, where he used machete to kill his victim and took the motorcycle to Ayaba village.

He said that the suspect was apprehended after investigations, and that he had confessed to committing the crime.

Atajiri said that the suspect would soon be charged to court.
