Doyin Okupe Takes Responsibility For Misinformation On Abducted Schoolgirls

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affair, Mr Doyin Okupe, has taken full responsibility for misinforming the public on the abducted secondary school girls.

The 100 female students of Government Girls Secondary School Chibok, in Borno state, were abducted by terrorist sect Boko haram, from their hostels.

The whereabouts of the girls remain unknown even though Doyin Okupe had issued a statement earlier stating that a number of them had been rescued by the Nigerian special forces

Okupe took things online and apologized for this misinformation on twitter, adding that he was given the information from the military.
