Delta State Civil Service Commission Announces 980 Vacancies

Delta State Civil Service Commission revealed on April 7, 2014, Tuesday that 126,000 persons have applied for employment in the 2014 recruitment into the state civil service.

It has been gathered that out of the above-mentioned figure ONLY 980 persons would be employed. The exercise would be based on merit and geographical spread.

The Chairman of Delta State Civil Service Commission, Dr Emmanuel Tesola, disclosed this while paying a courtesy visit to Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Peter Onwusanya, said that the physically challenged persons would be considered. He also commended the state House of Assembly for supporting the State Civil Service commission.

He, therefore, solicited the continuous support of the state House of Assembly in making laws that could help in strengthening the state civil service.

The chairman also felicitated with Mr Onwusanya on his new appointment.
