The ex- military ruler said there was the need for all Nigerians to pray that God would also touch the hearts of the wicked and the hearts of politicians, especially in anticipation of the 2015 general elections.

It would be noted that Rev. Canon Yemi Fatusi and the Deputy Governor of Gombe State, Mr. Tha’anda Rubainu, have offered prayers for the peace of Nigeria and its leaders together with Gen. Gowon.
