Gov. Orji's son's aide dies from stray bullet
John Ndubuka, personal assistant to the son of Abia State governor, Chinedum Orji, lost his life on Saturday after he was hit by a stray bullet.

The incident happened at a civil reception held in honour of Gov. Orji by the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia.
After the reception at the former Umuahia Main Market which ended at about 4.30pm, the governor and his wife were said to have left with their entourage for the home of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, where guests were entertained.
The governor's son, Chinedum was leaving at about 5.15pm when a single shot was fired in the direction of his car. The shot hit his aide on the back shoulder, pierced through his right rib and emerged through the chest, leaving him with blood rushing out from the deep hole caused by the bullet. He was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, FMC Umuahia where he was pronounced dead.
However, three men have been arrested in connection with the killing.
Speaking with newsmen in Umuahia, the state Commissioner for Information, Eze Chikamnayo, said investigation into the matter has begun.
