queen of benin passes away

First Queen and wife to the Oba of Benin, Queen Esther Erediauwa (Nee Osunbor) and Eson N’erie of Benin Kingdom is dead.

The Queen reportedly passed away at about 8pm on Saturday after a brief illness.

She had been battling with diabetes since December last year and gradually got worse.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.
