As passengers make a desperate attempt to evacuate the plane, water can be seen rushing into the cabin.
One of the passengers, Rosa Key said: "The water was rough. The pilot was trying to get everybody together but it was kind of impossible because of the waves."
The crash in December killed Hawaii's department of health director Loretta Fuddy.
The 65-year-old released Barack Obama’s birth certificate in 2011 when the US President faced questions about his upbringing.
The clip was filmed by Ferdinand Puentes. The pilot and seven other passengers all survived.
