How Boko Haram Killed 8,000 Members Of My Church - Pastor

Reverend Samuel Dali, the president of Ekklisiyar Yan'uwa A Nigeria, EYN (Church of the Brethren in Nigeria), has revealed how Boko Haram killed about 8,000 of his members.

Expressing hopes that the end of the terror group is near, the cleric said some of the church facilities in Adamawa, Yobe and Borno states have been destroyed in different Boko haram attacks.

Speaking with journalists in his Jos office recently, Reverend Dali lamented that aside from the 70% of his church members that have been killed,  most of his pastors have lost their jobs as their places of worship has been burnt and members killed.

He also added that 176 of the kidnapped Chibok girls were his church members. “Nigeria will overcome the Boko Haram challenge soon. 70% of our churches have been destroyed in Adamawa, Yobe and Borno states by Boko Haram; over 8,000 of our members were killed. 176 of the girls kidnapped in Chibok are our members,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Army Staff made a brief stop at Mafa, addressing the troops of the 112 battalion. Tukur Buratai told the soldiers that “w”. He also assured troops that Muhammadu Buhari promised him to provide troops with everything needed to crush Boko Haram insurgency.
