Senator Saraki Snobs APC Leadership Meeting
An attempt to broker peace among the contenders for the Senate presidency by the leadership of the All Progressives Congress suffered a setback as Senator Bukola Saraki boycotted the meeting.
Sahara Reporter reports that Senator Saraki, boycotted the meeting stating he could not attend a meeting summoned by a ‘mere commissioner’, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, who was once the commissioner of justice in Lagos State.
Due to Saraki’s absence, a source stated that Prof. Osinbajo didn’t bother to attend the meeting.

Another source said the party leaders met with its elected lawmakers while the National Working Committee of the APC reaffirmed their support for candidates chosen during Saturday’s mock primaries of the party.
The eight National Assembly is expected to be inaugurated tomorrow June 9, 2015.
President Muhammad Buhari, who is expected to return to Abuja tomorrow had directed the Clerk of the National Assembly to declare the two chambers inaugurated.
However, APC leaders are expected to hold a final meeting tonight to prepare for the elections of its principal officers of the National Assembly tomorrow.
