Adamawa Community Under Boko Haram Attack
An Islamist terrorist sect Boko Haram has launched a deadly attack on Gombi in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The details of the attack are sketchy but Punch correspondent managed to know that the insurgents have entered the town on Monday, Marth 9 from Shani.

Shani is a Local Government Area of Borno State with the neighbouring Cameroon and Garkida, a boundary town between Adamawa and Borno states.
According to anonymous military source, Nigerian troops had confronted the terrorists in a bid to repel them and force them out of the town. More details soon.

Gombi has been repeatedly attacked in the past by Boko Haram and the region has been under a military state of emergency since May 2013.
