Obasanjo Launches 'My Watch' In Lagos
Former Nigeria's President Olusegun Obasanjo has finally unveiled his debatable autobiography ‘My Watch’ at the Lagos Country club Ikeja, Lagos, on December 9, 2014.
The event, which was firstly scheduled for Thursday, was heavily-attended. The guests included a former VC of the University of Lagos, Prof. Ibidapo Obe, and a former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, among others.

According to Sahara Reporters, President Goodluck Jonathan had personally contacted Obasanjo in an attempt to postpone the book's launch until the 2015 presidential elections are over.
Parts from the book have made much attention, as they have seriously criticized President Jonathan and the weaknesses in his administration.

It was gathered than one of the chapters of the book named “To be or not to be, Jonathan” where Obasanjo said he was deceived by late President Umaru Yar’Adua about his health condition, before his emergence as the PDP flag-bearer in 2007.
The launch of the three-volume book was stopped by a court injunction secured by a former friend of Obasanjo, Prince Buruji Kashamuon, on Friday, December 5th, but lawyers to Chief Obasanjo advised him to go ahead with the launch.
