Buhari Gives Imo APC Delegates N1m To Get Their Votes At Primaries
The All Progressives Congress, (APC) presidential candidate General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), contributed N1 million to the delegates of the party from Imo State to get their votes during its December 10 national convention.
The former head of the state met with the delegates at the Regent Hotels, Owerri, during which he lobbied them to vote for him.

Buhari also visited the Imo State House of Assembly to lobby the APC members of the legislature who are legislative delegates to the primaries.
The Director General of his Campaign Organisation, Audu Ogbeh; a former President of Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Rotimi Akeredolu; and a former member of the House of Representatives, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba accompanied the presidential aspirant.
Another presidential candidate, ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, had at the weekend contributed N8.5 million to the Sokoto State part of the main opposition party.

Other aspirants pushing for the opposition party’s presidential ticket are Governor Rabi’u Kwankwaso of Kano State and the founder of the Leadership newspaper, Sam Nda-Isaiah.
Mr. Buhari had recently established a crowd sourcing campaign on the social media to raise funds for the primaries.
The former head of the state was in the Bayelsa state yesterday to address the delegates of the APC for the party’s forthcoming presidential primaries.
While he was travelling from Bayelsa State to Makurdi to pursue delegates of his party ahead of the APC delegates congress scheduled for December his flight barred permit to land in Makurdi airport.
