Another 20 Women Were Abducted In Garta By Boko Haram
Another 20 women have reportedly been kidnapped by the Islamist sect Boko Haram from Garta village in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State following renewed attacks unleashed by the insurgents.
And the militants to boot have paid a portion of N1,500 on each woman taken away.
It was reported earlier byPMnews that terrorist group, Boko Haram, has kidnapped no fewer than 40 women in a recent attack carried out in Wagga village, Adamawa State. The number of the abducted women increased to 60, as the other 20 were forcefully taken away from their homes in Grata.

Some of the residents from the area, who called journalists in Yola on the telephone, mourned that scores of terrorists riding motorcycles and driving vans had attacked their towns.
The residents said that they were able to sneak out of the seized towns on Tuesday, but revealed that their villages were wasted on Saturday.
One of the locals, Tizhe Kwada, who escaped terrorists told journalists that the area had been under the control of the Boko Haram for about two months now.

Kwada demanded that the insurgents cordon off the entire town and went from one house to another in Garta in search of young women who they took in their vans to an unknown destination.
“The insurgents are still in the area. And they have slaughtered many men in Garta and abducted many young women. We also heard from residents of Wagga that they killed two men and took 40 women away from there,” he said.
Meanwhile, other sources disclosed that the Boko Haram attacked the villages last Saturday and that several of the inhabitants had escaped to other communities including Yola, the state capital, which is about 88 kilometres from Madagali.
Another resident of Waga Mangoro, Ahmadu, also confirmed that the insurgents attacked his community. He said the terrorists used the kidnapped women as human shields during paybacks by Nigerian army.
These fresh attacks have reportedly violated the ceasefire agreement between federal government and Boko Haram, which was reached on October 17.

According to the declaration, the insurgents were expected to release the over 234 school girls that were abducted in Chibok, Borno State on April 14, 2014.
