2015: Buhari Declares For Presidency In Abuja
A former military head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), popularly called #GMB on Twitter, is about to formally declare his intention to run for the seat in Aso Rock in February 2015.
Thousands of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters have been gathering at Eagles Square, FCT Abuja, since morning of October 15, 2014, Wednesday. The organisers of the rally and the observers emphasised that the event had no crowd buying and no presidential funding.

The senator emphasised that Nigeria needs someone like Buhari to the rescue. Melaye concluded the rally be expressing hope to gather in May 2015 for the inauguration of Buhari as the new president of Nigeria!

It would be noted that Buhari took part in 2003, 2007 and 2011 presidential elections. Another veteran politician representing the APC, ex VP Atiku Abubakar, declared his intention to compete on September 24, 2014. Two days ago he picked up the presidential nomination form.
