Vandal Electrocuted In Lagos (PHOTO)

A yet to be identified vandal has been reportedly electrocuted at the Iju area of Lagos State.

According to Lindaikeji, the vandal was electrocuted while trying to steal cable from a transformer along Iju road, precisely Lonlo bus stop.

The deceased vandal was reported to have gone to the scene in the early hour of the morning to carry out the illicit act when luck ran out of him. He was said to have been electrocuted and remained in there until residents woke up this morning to discover his lifeless body.

A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity said, they were waiting for Government officials to arrive and remove the corpse.

Meanwhile, on July 29, 2014, the people of Ifo market in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State were thrown into mourning as two people were electrocuted by a high tension wire that suddenly snapped. On July 23, 2014, a high tension wire that fell on top of several houses reportedly caused extensive fire catastrophe in Ejigbo area of Lagos State, while on June 2, 2014, a man was electrocuted in the early hours of this morning on PHCN power line poles in Calabar, Cross River state.
