Atiku Begins Peace Tour For Presidential Ambition
Former Vice President, Abubakar Atiku, has started a national tour which will take him to key places and important people who will aid his 2015 presidential ambition.
Vanguard reports that the tour was deemed necessary by the former vice president in order to meet with major decision-makers, opinion moulders and groups across the country, while being responsible to the society in one way or the other and tackling major challenges in the economy.

However, an authoritative source from the Atiku Peace Campaign Team made it known that the tour is designed to “give hope to the hopeless masses, rekindle their patriotic zeal, duty to country and responsibility to society.” The source further revealed that the both foreign and local consultations have been put in place to make the ambition a reality for the politician who is planning to be a president come 2015 on the tenets of the All Progressives Congress.
The source said: “ His mission is to gauge the pulse of the people on the country’s many challenges and proferring lasting solutions to them.”
It would be recalled that just recently, the former president came hard on President Goodluck Jonathan, saying he lacks the political will to conquer the Boko Haram ending surge in the country.
