Christmas: Nigerian Man Treks From Asaba Airport to Hotel After Taxi Driver Charged Him N30k

A Nigerian man shared his experience after he arrived Asaba, Delta state where he would be spending the Christmas and New Year festivities.

The man said he landed at the Asaba Airport around 7.30pm and decided to take a taxi ride to his hotel accommodation.

However, the man identified on TikTok as @mrkudez was unsettled when the taxi driver he flagged charged him N30,000 for a short distance.

He refused to take the taxi, insisting the short distance shouldn’t cost that much, and chose to walk instead.

He said:

"Ok from inside airport to the airport gate by 7:51pm… The aviation bodies should try and do something about this airport taxi service prices and bring the prices down."

Taxi driver discovers money in his car

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that an old video resurfaced in which a Nigerian taxi driver found $60,000 in his car and took it to a radio station in order to find the rightful owner.

The taxi driver picked up the money when the naira was N750 to $1, but he could not bring it immediately as he fell ill.
