He stated that there are other parties he can use as a platform to contest, which are allegedly better than the PDP, but if Jonathan must go with the PDP, he should be ready to do a lot of work and seek the face of God.
His words:
“If Jonathan wants to come out of PDP, he will do a lot of work because there is a curse on the party already; there are other parties he can come out from that are better than PDP.”
Ayodele's prophecy on Goodluck Jonathan
Furthermore, Primate Ayodele prophesied that the former president 'will be blindfolded by wrong advice', while warning him to be sure of what he wants to do because if he loses, he will be embarrassed by his past.

Analyst doubts Jonathan’s chances amid PDP crisis
A political analyst, Dare Akinniyi, who is also the spokesperson of The New Democratic Frontiers, has warned that the internal crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) makes the path to the 2027 presidential candidacy of former President Goodluck Jonathan uncertain.
Speaking with Legit.ng, Akinniyi noted that the opposition party is deeply divided and this weakens Jonathan’s chances:
“The party itself has gone along divided lines, some have gone to the ADC and others in the party and are working for the APC. I don't think he will get the ticket or a consensus that will present him as the sole aspirant/candidate. Not when Minister Wike is rooting for the 2nd term of his Boss and benefactor, President Bola Tinubu.”

He pointed out that several factions are competing within the PDP ahead of 2027, making reconciliation a difficult task.
“We have seen the divided interests at the forefront of PDP's 2027 Presidency. We have the Wike faction, Govs Makinde and Ubah faction, Gov Bala Mohammed faction, Damagum led NWC and Sam Anyanwu led NWC, how will he reconcile these factions? What is on the table for Sen. Bukola Saraki's reconciliation committee is bigger than the party itself.”
According to him, some powerful interests within the PDP see Jonathan’s name being mentioned alongside Peter Obi as a ploy that could destabilize the opposition while benefiting the ruling party.
“Already, you can hear Wike saying those pulling Jonathan and Obi into the 2027 Presidency race are calling for crises. That is the reasoning of those who want APC to continue beyond 2027.”
Akinniyi concluded that while Jonathan remains a respected figure, his chances of leading a divided PDP back to power are slim.
