"Pastor Joel. I've been following you for years and I still go to sleep listening to the sermons of your dad's or yours almost everyday. Thanks for taking the courage to post this for Charlie and his family when many pastors and Christian leaders are too afraid to do so."

"Thank you Pastor so much heart aches and I pray God brings the murderer to justice."

"The phrase comes from the Gospel of Luke 24:5 and refers to the angels asking the women why they were looking for Jesus in the tomb (among the dead), when he was alive because he had risen. This question is an exhortation not to look for Jesus in death, but in the life and hope."

"My heart is broken. Have gone between praying and crying today. Charlie’s political beliefs were shaped by his Christian faith. He spoke profoundly and unapologetically of his love for the Lord. Today he died a Christian martyr."
@MindsetWealths said:
"You’re absolutely correct. The pain his family must feel is unimaginable, but faith brings strength when nothing else can. Holding onto Christ’s promise is what gets us through tragedy. Praying not just for his loved ones, but for healing in this divided nation too."
