Eunice Wuraola Ogini reacts to Fatoyinbo's alleged comments
Now, Eunice Wuraola Ogini has responded to the alleged comments made against her father by COZA pastor, Fatoyinbo.
According to Mama Ogini, who spoke in a video message posted on YouTube by CAC News, her father was an exemplary preacher of the gospel who focused solely on the message of Christ.
She said:
"I'm Eunice Wuraola Ogini, the first daughter of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola. My father, in his lifetime, preached the gospel of Christ without compromise. In his crusades in his time, people would bring their idols to be destroyed with fire. A lot of shrines were destroyed. A lot of occult materials, calabarshes, were brought to be destroyed by fire during his crusades in his lifetime. He preached Christ and Christ only. His emphasis was on repentance from sin, serving the lord and worshipping the living God."
She stated that she and her sister followed closely in their father's footsteps and that they are involved in ministry in different ways.
Her words:
"I want to state clearly that we, his children, followed in his footsteps. Myself and my sister we worship the lord, we love God and we serve God. I'm a deaconess in my church, a prayer warrior and a Sunday school teacher. My sister, Dame Deborah Agbeke Adeniyi, in her church is a prayer warrior and an evangelist. She was honoured with the knighthood of John Welslye, a prestigious status in her church. To the glory of God, both of us are highly blessed."
Mama Ogini said she and her sister are okay, noting that her father sowed a seed of generosity when he was alive.
She noted:
"This is because my father already sowed a seed of generosity, kindness and love of humanity. I remember vividly in my childhood days, our house used to be filled with people of different ages, different tribes, different languages, children, adults, youths, males, and females. And out of the abundance of my father, he was able to help everyone of them to have a good life and make a responsible living by giving some education to as far as they would wish, putting some people in apprenticeship, giving some people whatever they need for their trade. My father lived a very comfortable life. If anyone doubts my father's impact upon the society, I encourage such person to visit a stone site or burial ground in Ifon Alaye in Ekiti state Nigeria, a place where people go on pilgrimage from different parts of the world. The place is open to everybody 24/7. People go there to pray, and God answers their prayers."

Mama Ogini admonished ministers of the gospel to speak only the truth when refering to her father and also show him respect.
Her words:
" I want to ask that when people mention my father's name during their preaching, they should speak the truth, they should be sincere and speak nothing but the truth with love and genuine or great respect. Ministers of God, I would say, please, honour the lord when you are on your pulpit. Try as much as possible to verify every information in order to avoid lies and speculations."
