Babajide was part of the triumphant Falcons at the recently concluded 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations played in Morocco.

The former Brighton and Hove Albion Women star shared a tweet expressing surprise at mosquitoes existing in Rome.

Babajide had earlier noted that living in Rome was a factor in her decision to join the club and added that she targets the UEFA Women's Champions League.

“It’s an honour to be honest. It’s a Champions League club, a prestigious club as well, so I’m very happy to be here. I feel like it’s similar to the Spanish league, everyone’s technical, it’s a competitive league as well, so I can’t wait to get started, she told AS Roma’s official website.
“Just being in Rome alone is precious, it’s an amazing experience,” she added.
