WASSCE 2025: Girl Who Was Scared to Check Her Result Clears Exam With A1 in 5 Subjects

Spotless Nazzy, a Nigerian girl who wrote WAEC, said she was initially nervous to check the outcome of the examination.

She narrated that she wrote the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Spotless said she passed the UTME and that she also needed to pass WAEC so she could get into a tertiary institution.

She posted a video showing the moment she logged into the WAEC website to check her result.

She said:

"This is the moment I have been waiting for. At this point, I felt really nervous. I already wrote JAMB and I passed, so this WAEC result was one of the necessary things I needed for admission processing.
"And of course, I heard there was massive failure, especially in English language and that triggered my fear. This was the result. The first thing I did was to zoom it to check what I got in the English language. It was actually a narrow escape from D7. But thank God I passed."

Spotless passed all the papers and got A1 in five subjects.

Students uses torchlight to write WAEC

In a related story, Legit.ng reported that a woman called out the invigilator handling one of the papers of the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

According to the woman, the invigilator came late to the examination centre as the paper was brought by 6pm.

In the video, students could be seen trying to write the WAEC examination in darkness, with some making use of torchlight.

A voice heard in the video said the invigilator came to the examination centre by 6pm.

The voice said:

"Even during my time of lantern, we no use torchlight write WAEC. It's not okay! Paper that is supposed to start by 2:000. they brought it by 6:00. No light in the school. He is using torchlight to write WAEC in unity model school Asaba, state capital, not in a village o! WAEC must write exam by night.
"People are still writing, see them now. Writing by night. This is wickedness. Writing exam by night. They are supposed to bring this paper by 2:00. They stayed till night. He is collecting their papers that they should go."

Lady who promised boy PS5 shares his result

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a Nigerian lady promised to buy a PS5 for her nephew if he did well in WAEC.

According to the result, the boy passed the exam very well.
