Two NYSC Members Who are a Couple Establish Akara Business At University of Ibadan

A couple currently undergoing their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) shared what they were using their free time to do.

The man and his woman opened an akara (bean cake) business at the University of Ibadan (UI) Oyo state.

In a video seen on the TikTok handle of @the_gashmos01, the couple said they do the akara business each day after returning from their place of primary assignments (PPA).

The video showed how committed they were to the business and how members of the public patronised them.

The couple acknowledged how hard it was to combine business with their NYSC, but their dedication inspired netizens.

When contacted, Agbogunleye Oluwaseun Ayomide told Legit.ng that they are not married yet, but confirmed that they are in courtship.

He said he and his fiancee, Olufemi Oluwatosin Oluwasanumi, both studied sociology at Ekiti State University (EKSU).

His words:

"We are both from Ekiti state. We were into the fast food business when we were in school, so we decided to start something here, too, and the inspiration of Akara came through the help of God. We are serving in Abadina College inside UI, but I camped in Imo state while my fiancee camped in Kaduna state."

NYSC member with small stature goes viral

Meanwhile, a video of a member of the NYSC with a small stature was posted on TikTok and went viral.

The lady who posted the video said the corps member was the smallest person in her NYSC orientation camp.

One social media user mentioned that the smallish corps member graduated from the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede.
