Bus Driver Buys Cheap Fuel Sold For N150 at Filling Station, He Fills His Car Tank Which Uses CNG

A driver was spotted at a NIPCO filling station refilling the tank of his CNG-powered bus.

The bus runs on CNG instead of the regular premium motor spirit, which is currently expensive in Nigeria.

A TikTok video showed the bonnet was flipped open as the attendant filled the tank with CNG.

In another video seen on the TikTok handle, @meitlandautocng, it was revealed that the CNG was sold at N150 per cubic meter at the NIPCO filling station.

According to Nagendra Verma, the managing director of NIPCO Gas, AutoGas for cars, taxis, and tricycles is presently being sold at about N200 per standard cubic foot, while CNG is sold at N260 per standard cubic meter (SCM) for heavy commercial vehicles.

After the video was posted, some people asked where they could convert their cars, which currently run on premium motor spirit, to start using CNG as fuel.
