A man has shared a lucrative job with skilled experts in the tech ecosystem who are willing to work remotely.

The man, Sahil Lavingia, made a post on X intimating interested persons about the opening at Gumroad, an e-commerce company.

Sahil said the job pays at least $200 per hour, about N164k in the current naira to dollar exchange rate.

He said the job is remote, and tech enthusiasts could apply. If employed, they could work from wherever they live.

Also, he said the employee had the option of relocating to New York City if they chose not to work remotely.

He shared his email and asked those interested to send him a DM or a message through the address. He asked that they send a portfolio of their work.

When contacted for a comment on the story, a tech enthusiast, Juliet Godwin, said it is possible to earn that much working in the tech industry. She said the job is stressful and that it is sometimes remote.

Her words:

"Definitely Tech Jobs pay well but is a competitive industry. As long as you're very good with your tech skills, there's always an opportunity for you to earn a very good amount of money. Tech jobs are stressful, just like every other job out there. It requires more mental strength than physical strength in a way. Sitting down for hours and your eyes fixed on a screen is not easy, as many may see it. Tech jobs can be remote or physical. The most important thing is to get the jobs done effectively."

Man gets a lucrative job

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that a young man got a tech job that pays $3,000 per month.

The young man, who is a student in his 200 level at the university, applied for the job and was lucky to be selected by the hiring team.

The student said his ultimate aim was to relocate abroad after graduating from the university.

Many people said he was lucky as he would be earning $36,000, which is about N28.2 million yearly, on the remote job while still in school.
