A Nigerian man who fries Akara has successfully sponsored his daughter's education at a private school.

The man's daughter, Eze Eseoghene, came on Twitter to celebrate her father's dedication to his akara business.

Lady celebrates her father who sells akara

The photo she posted shows her father frying the popular local delicacy in his shop. It was her father's birthday, which was why she made the post to congratulate him.

Eseoghene wrote:

"He’s my Father. A man I’m so proud of. Sponsoring me through a private school by just selling Akara. But then, thank you for always standing by me even when I make mistakes. Happy birthday big man."

Legit.ng spoke with Eseoghene and she said her father started the business 28 years ago.

"My father's name is Chibueze Imeba Demion. He started 28 years ago, according to what he told me. And since I was younger when I could walk rather. I started going to shop. My father isn't educated. He told me he just finished primary school but made a vow that, all of his children would be graduates."
