Tiwa Savage performed one of her hit songs, Keys To The Kingdom, on the evening of Saturday, May 6, and she was a vision to behold!

The singer, whose performance was in honour of King Charles III's coronation, dazzled in a regal green ensemble for the concert.

Savage, known as African Bad Gyal, ditched her daring and revealing looks for a more stately ensemble, a glittery green off-shoulder ballgown.

The dress featured a corseted bodice, a ruffled accent at the centre and a flowy skirt. Attached to the dress was a long sash that draped from the waist and created a dramatic train.

The stunning number was designed by celebrated Nigerian designer, Lanre Da Silva Ajayi.

The Somebody Son crooner accessorized with statement green gemstone earrings, layered choker necklaces, a pink diamond cross chain and a few midi rings.

Nigerian fashion illustrator speaks on Tiwa Savage's look at coronation

Mimi Okeren is an illustrator and stylist whose works have been seen on the likes of Nollywood star, Mercy Aigbe.

Reacting to Tiw Savage's Coronation concert look, Okeren told Legit.ng's Kumashe Yaakugh that he thought the look to be simple ,stylish luxury yet unique outfit.

According to him, the colour choice green was a nod to the Nigerian flag. He says that her choice of accessory gave the entire look a luxurious and rich feel.

"Green signifies health, richness, power and that’s what the singer is all about," he said.

On the singer's decision

"The fact she choose a Nigerian designer is great, thereby promoting Nigerian designers, art and fashion and putting Nigerian designers on the world map cause a lot of people from different zones and cities were at the coronation. Lanre Da Silva is also an original, authentic and creative designer. Her take on fashion and style is impeccable thus letting her creations speak for her brand locally and internationally."
