Interim Government Plot: Fani-Kayode Urges DSS to Arrest Atiku, Peter Obi, Gives Reason

A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode, has called for the arrest of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer for the February 25 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

The former minister of aviation on Thursday, March 29, urged the Department of State Services (DSS) to arrest Atiku and Obi over an alleged call for an interim government instead of handing over power to the democratically elected president on May 29th, Vanguard reported

Fani-Kayode calls for Atiku, Obi's arrest

Fani-Kayode made this plea through a statement shared on his Twitter page, titled: “Arrest the Rebels and Treasonable Subversives!”

According to him, if such a move is not carried out, the swearing-in ceremony of the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is threatened.

FFK, as he is fondly called, tweeted:

"Now the signs are obvious and ominous and it is clear that there is something evil afoot.
"It is heartwarming and encouraging that the DSS, as alive to their duties as ever, finally issued a statement yesterday in which they vindicated us."

APC, PDP react as DSS identifies plotters of interim government

Legit.ng reported earlier that the presidential campaign councils of the APC and the PDP have challenged the Department of State Services after its latest warning to misguided politicians.

The parties urged the DSS to get tough with the plotters of the interim national government.

In separate interviews with The Punch on Wednesday, March 29, in Abuja, the councils said the push for the interim government was unconstitutional, adding that the plotters should be identified (named) and arrested.

Meanwhile, fake news mongers and violent perpetrators will meet their waterloo in a few days.

According to a statement by the Department of State Service (DSS), plots are being orchestrated by political elites.

The DSS warned desperate politicians to go about their daily routine or risk being condemned by the law.
