“Telling African Stories to the World”: Idris Elba Set to Partner With Mo Abudu on Two New Projects

Top Nollywood movie producer and production boss Mo Abudu recently took to her social media page to share that she was set to help create a standard slate for feature films and TV series originating from Africa and the diaspora.

In her post, Mo noted that she would embark on the project with British-African actor Idris Elba.

She disclosed that the project would be in multi-phases, with the first part being to create an academy in Nigeria to help identify new talents in Africa and in the diaspora.

The celebrated EbonyLife CEO, who described herself as self-made, spoke on how she has done all manner of jobs in her life but now has over 30 international projects in her profile.

Mo noted that she has worked as a waitress at KFC in England. According to her, she has worked hard for everything she has.
