Peter Obi has declared that he knows the root of the problem in the country. The presidential candidate of the Labour Party stated this in Rivers state on Thursday, November 17.
He was in the to honour the invitation by the state governor, Nyesom Wike, for the inauguration of the Nkpolu-Oroworokwo Flyover, Punch Newspaper reports.
He said:

“I know the problem of the country. Nigeria is not a productive state. I have said it again and again that I know what to do to benefit every part of the country. I told them in the North when we held our campaign that we will develop their vast lands. They have the lands so we will develop it.
“The South-West will be our financial hub and the East will be our manufacturing base. We will revive the sea port in Rivers so that we can be exporting from there.”

Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), met with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Abuja.
CAN had initially stood against Tinubu for fielding a Muslim-Muslim ticket after choosing Kashim Shettima, a former governor of Borno state, as his running mate.

Meanwhile, some Nigerians are refusing to criticise Professor Chukwuma Soludo, governor of Anambra state, over his recent letter about the ambition of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP).
Soludo in an article titled ‘History Beckons and I Will Not Be Silent (Part 1)’ dismissed Peter Obi's presidential ambition, insisting that Obi will will not win.
However, a section of Nigerians believe the Anambra state governor is a realist and his position on Peter Obi is valid.

The former Anambra state governor said this in an interview. According to Peter Obi, the country meets the two ingredients of a failed state.
