Breaking: Security Operatives Everywhere As National Assembly Awaits Buhari for 2022 Budget Presentation

As President Muhammadu Buhari visits the National Assembly to lay the 2022 Appropriation Bill before Nigerian lawmakers, there is a heavy presence of security operatives in and around the Assembly Complex in Abuja, Punch Newspaper reports.
Buhari wrote to the Senate and the House of Representatives to notify the chambers of his intention to present the federal government budget on Thursday, October 7.
Immediately, the premises had begun to wear a new look especially along the route the President takes from the Presidential Villa to the White House section of the complex, which houses the chambers.
The ceremony is to take place at the House chamber, which has a bigger capacity to contain the 469 members of the parliament, members of the Federal Executive Committee and more.

In another report, the Catholic Bishop of the Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Kukah has raised concerns about the refusal of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to release names of sponsors of Boko Haram terrorists.
The cleric while delivering a sermon at the Priestly Ordination of Five Deacons at the Holy Family Cathedral declared that this administration is not sincere in dealing with terrorists killing Nigerians.
Kukah on Sunday, October 3, wondered why it is difficult for the government to release names of those sponsoring terrorism.
Insecurity hits house of God in Abuja as armed robbers raid Dunamis church, stab guard
In another report, Armed robbers on Monday, October 4, invaded the Dunamis International Gospel Centre by suspected robbers on Monday.
The criminals were said to have stabbed a security guard, identified only as John, in the stomach and ripped off his intestines.
According to Punch Newspaper, the criminals were about 10 in numbers. The newspaper reprts that eye witness claimed they arrived in the church from the shanties and slums in the neighbourhood.
