A university freshman has got many talking as he protested the high cost of getting gowns for matriculation ceremonies in institutions.

The unidentified student, in photos shared in Igbo Rant HQ Facebook group, attempted to overuse the clothing material.

Lady gets admission after 5 years of waiting, strikes poses in matric gown

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian lady had celebrated her matriculation in style after seeking admission for five years.

Celebrating the personal feat, the lady shared four photos where she struck different poses in the gown. Many tweeps congratulated her as they wished the student well in her academic career.

In a post on Wednesday, May 19, the lady said that she waited for five long years before she could have the opportunity of wearing a matric gown.
