Breaking: SCOAN Finally Announces Date for TB Joshua's Burial

  • The management of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has announced the burial arrangement for its late general overseer
  • According to the information on the TB Joshua Ministries Facebook page, a candlelight procession would be held on Monday, July 5
  • Lying in the state would be held on July 9, and Joshua's remains would be committed to the mother earth at the church premises

Ikotun, Lagos - Prophet TB Joshua, the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), would be buried in the church premises on July 9, 2021.

In a statement posted on TB Joshua Ministries Facebook page on Tuesday, June 29 and seen by Legit.ng, the church said that the burial activities for the renowned cleric would hold from July 5 to July 11.

The statement said a series of activities tagged ‘Celebrating the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua (1963-2021) - Not mine but God's own would be broadcast live on Emmanuel TV.

According to the report, a candlelight procession would be held on Monday, July 5 from 6 pm, saying that people are encouraged to get a candle as a symbol and connect with the programme in their homes to honour God’s servant.

The statement read:

"An all-day tribute service will be held on Tuesday, 6th July from 10am (GMT+1) at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, Lagos, Nigeria. This is an opportunity for you to share a tribute or testimony – either in person or via video – about how God has used Prophet TB Joshua to touch your life in a unique way! This event is open to the public with limited seating - those unable to physically attend can submit short tribute videos to us on WhatsApp or Telegram on this number: +234 902 077 2823.
"An all-night praise service will be held from midnight to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, 7th July at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations. This event is open to the public with limited seating - those unable to attend physically can join us LIVE on Emmanuel TV in this special time of praise, worship and celebration with international gospel artistes from around the world."

It added that on Thursday, July 8, a lying-in-state service would be held at SCOAN from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m, saying that the service is open to the general public for people to pay their last respects to the late man of God.

TB Joshua’s wife, Evelyn may succeed her late husband as new General Overseer

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that Evelyn Joshua, the wife of the late TB Joshua, would replace her deceased husband as the General Overseer of the church.

It was reported that the elders of the church met and declared Evelyn the successor to the late televangelist.

Evelyn, who met TB Joshua over 30 years ago, was said to have been serving as the second-in-command to her husband before his death.
