BREAKING NEWS: Ex-Oyo State Governor, Lam Adesina Is Dead

Former Oyo State governor, Alhaji Lam Adesina is dead.

He died age 73 , this morning after a prolonged illness. The ex-governor suffered diabetes for a long time and was said to have died as a result of complications from the ailment.

Adesina was governor of Oyo State from 1999 to 2003.

The State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi who confirmed the death of the former governor said the deceased will be buried later today (Sunday) according to Islamic rites at his Felele residence in Ibadan.
