Family Set Date for TB Joshua’s Burial, Many People Will Be Disappointed

Ikotun, Lagos state - In what will sadden some people and elate others, the family of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Pastor Temitope Joshua have arrived at a date and place for his burial.
According to a family source who spoke on the condition of anonymity, TB Joshua may be buried on July 9, on the premises of his church in Lagos state.
According to the source, the date was fixed after the immediate and extended members of the family of TB Joshua met in Lagos State on Friday, June 12.
This decision is contrary to the expectation of the monarch of Arigidi Akoko, Oba Yisa Olanipekun, Guardian Newspaper reports.
The family member said the wife, Evelyn, and the children of Joshua insisted that he should be buried in Lagos, Punch added.
The source said:
“The extended family members, his (Joshua) wife and children held a meeting on Friday and it was decided that he should be buried in Lagos and the burial programme will be between July 5 and 9.
“It was on the insistence of the wife and the children that the other family members agree on the place of burial because they said they saw revelations that he should be buried in Lagos. Since they said it was spiritual, the family agreed with them.”
My husband's death is an act of God
In another report, Mrs Evelyn Joshua, wife of Temitope Joshua says the death of her husband was an act of God.
The widow said this on Wednesday, June 9, when a delegate from the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, led by the commissioner for home affairs, Prince Anofiu Elegushi, paid her a condolence visit in the Ikotun area of Lagos.
Addressing the officials of the state government, the bereaved woman said her husband's death did not come to her as a surprise.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that sympathisers in hundred have been thronging to the hometown of Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua in Arigidi-Akoko community of Akoko North-West, Ondo state.
He must be buried in the village
Speaking on Joshua's death, Zaki of Arigidi-Akoko, Oba Yisa Olanipekun, urged that the remains of the late televangelist must be brought back home for burial.
According to the traditional ruler, Joshua is treasured in his hometown and he must not be buried in Lagos state which is the centre of his ministries.
"They must bury TB Joshua here in the village. We will not accept that he is buried in Lagos state," the monarch
