Fela's youngest son Seun Kuti has said he was one of the four Nigerians who were nominated for a Grammy award. Seun stated this during a live video on IG after a follower he does not sing good songs.
According to him, his brother Femi, juju singer Sunny Ade and Burna Boy are the Nigerians who have been nominated for the renowned award.

Seun stated that featuring on a Grammy award-winning song does not make the person a nominee. The young musician noted that Grammy organisers called him to enter their show.

Another achievement
Seun also revealed that he was the first Nigerian singer to perform on the Coachella stage. According to him, when people talk about Coachella, they say Burna Boy is the first person to be on that stage.
Noting that he is not hating on Burna, Seun said he just has a problem with haters as they talk about him as if he is from Togo.
Seun also revealed that he has a cordial relationship with the director of Coachella based on the beautiful performance he gave at the show. The musician noted that he has been opening doors from way back.
