Mariah Carey has denied being involved in an "explosive situation" with Jay-Z that led to her leaving his record label.

According to tabloid claims published on Sunday, Mariah had left Jay-record Z's label, Roc Nation, following a "blazing dispute" between the two at a meeting over Carey's career.

According to the story, the singer-songwriter has made it obvious that she no longer wants anything to do with him and that she will leave Roc Nation in the coming weeks, as per a report by Independent Online.

Mimi corrected the reports on Monday by reminding fans of one of her and Jay-Z's hit songs, Heartbreaker, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1999, according to Billboard.

Mariah's 30th-anniversary album The Rarities, her best-selling memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey, and her AppleTV+ Christmas special Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special have all been published since joining Roc Nation.

The R&B singer has set the record straight and said that she's not beefing with Jay-Z. It seems the two still have a close relationship.
