Legendary musician King Sunny Ade has attained old age and isn’t entirely as active as his hay days but this is not to say that his legacy is taking a hit.
One of the veteran musician’s sons, Ademola Adegeye, takes the reigns from his father and seeks to reach even greater heights than his old man.
In a recent interview with BBC Yoruba, the young man opened up about the journey so far and some of the challenges that have greeted him on the way to the top.
On his decision to pursue a career in music, Ademola disclosed that he has always loved music since he was little but his father had strict rules for all his children and made it clear that their education comes first.
Ademola said it didn’t stop him from practising on the side but he could only follow his heart’s desire after completing his education.
