What’s Here to Celebrate? Reactions As Video From Late Ada Jesus’ Burial Ceremony Emerges Online

Popular comedian Mercy Mmesoma Obi Nnadi popularly known as Ada Jesus is set to be buried on Friday, May 28.
BBC News Pidgin shared a live video showing some of the events from the burial ceremony on their Facebook page.
The video showed the moment the comedian's corpse was moved from the mortuary and was being taken to her husband's house in another village.

In the video, three women including the late comedian's elder sister were spotted with Ada's photo frame as they walked in front of pallbearers who were dancing along to some musical instruments being played.

Ada Jesus' Death
The comedian passed away on the morning of Wednesday, April 21.
Ada gave up the ghost a few days after she was surrounded by well-wishers as she celebrated her birthday at the hospital.
A cry for help
A lady called Ella Ada had taken to her Facebook page in February to publicise the ill health of the late comedian while calling on people to financially help.
It was reported that she was diagnosed with a kidney problem and was admitted to the hospital.

Ada Jesus Vs Rita Edochie and Prophet Odumeje
Before the death of the late comedian, Ada approached the people she had offended and they included veteran actress Rita Edochie and controversial prophet Odumeje.
Odumeje and Edochie claimed the comedian went around soiling their names and accusing them of performing fake miracles in their church. After much pleading, the actress and the prophet forgave the late comedian.

As expected, Nigerians had something to say about the comedian's burial.

Ada's last moments
In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that Femi Fani-Kayode's ex-wife Precious shared the video and photo of Ada Jesus' last moments.
In the video, the comedienne who was eating out of the food that was brought for her birthday stopped Precious from taking out of her food as the people around laughed.
In the caption, the ex-beauty queen said that she would remember the last few days and moments she spent with Ada on her sickbed.
She noted how receptive and appreciative the comedienne was in her last moments and revealed how much Ada Jesus wanted to stay alive.
