A schoolboy aspiring to be a prefect for his school has urged his mates to vote for him promising to deliver whatever promises he makes to them.
In a trending video, the schoolboy, who gave his name as Asante Isaac, reading to his mates, teachers, and others in one of the classrooms said he won’t be like President Akufo-Addo when he is voted for.
He explained that the president before assuming power in 2016, made some promises, including the popular One village, One dam (1V1D), which is yet to be realised.
According to him, he would not disappoint his mates and is willing to fulfill all the promises he makes to them to the latter.
Asante Isaac added that even though some of his mates might say he is too small for the boys’ prefect position, he is really fit for it.
He urged them saying: “Don’t mind the body, mind the engine”.
The video has garnered some reactions on social media.
Gadfly, for instance, wrote that Isaac was speaking the truth:
gadfly99: "The truth is simple...."
Baka also had a similar opinion:
fc_baka_ink: "Its very true."

YEN.com.gh cannot tell for now the school that the boy attends. But he certainly must be a bold boy to come up with such a manifesto.
