The founder of ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, has recently announced that he will be stepping down from his position as CEO of the highly successful company so that he can "read more books and daydream".

Considering he is worth a whopping $44 billion (N18,087,960,000,000), we're guessing it was a pretty easy decision for him to make - especially since he can afford to buy just about any amount of books he would like.

"The truth is, I lack some of the skills that make an ideal manager. Similarly, I'm not very social, preferring solitary activities like being online, reading, listening to music, and daydreaming about what may be possible," he wrote in a letter to his employees, Celebrity Networth reports.

CNN reports that at only 38, Yiming has become one of the youngest CEO's to step down from a rapidly growing social media tech company.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Austin Russell dropped out of university in 2012 to set up his company, Luminar Technologies thanks to a $100,000 fellowship from a billionaire tech investor Peter Thiel.

Now aged 26, he is one of the youngest billionaires in the world but not the first on the list.
