"I really wish to go fishing too... Like catch live fishes from the river like this."

@SkinnyFoodiee said:

"Please don't laugh at me, I always thought Tilapia was one of those imported fishes like Salmon."

The fisherman responded:

"Turns out we can also farm it here in Nigeria. I'm a second-generation tilapia farmer.. people have been farming tilapia for a while .. just not as popular as catfish."

@HallymaOmotola_ asked:

"Why is it always so expensive?"

He answered:

"We farm them for 7-8 months. Most farmers go through only one harvest a year if they are farming Tilapia. Lots of factors are involved."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Michael Ibru was one of the greatest men in the country who made it big by doing something novel. In 1957, he started producing and marketing frozen fish.

When he started, it was an entirely new market as there was no taste for the product. That, however, did not deter him from breaking limits in the business.
