Photos Emerge As Aisha Buhari Pays Condolence Visit to Attahiru’s Family

The First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Chief of Army Staf (COAS) Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru.
Aisha shared photos of her visit to the Attahiru family on her verified Twitter handle on Sunday, May 23.
The First Lady described the death of the late army chief and the other military in the plane crash as a monumental loss to their families and the nation.
She said:
''I paid a condolence visit to the Family of the Late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru.
The death of the Late Chief Of Army Staff and the other military officers aboard the ill-fated aircraft is a monumental loss to their families and the Nation at large.''

In another report, President Muhammadu Buhari has declared Monday, May 24, a work-free day for members of the Nigerian Armed Forces in honour of Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, the late Chief of Army Staff and 10 others who died in an air crash on Friday, May 21.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, said this in a statement on Sunday, May 23, Daily Trust reported.
Legit.ng gathered that the Nigerian leader also ordered the national flag to be flown at half-mast in all public buildings, facilities, and official residences from Monday, May 24 to Wednesday, May 26th.

Meanwhile, an emerging report claims President Muhammadu Buhari is already making plans to replace the late Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru, as soon as possible.
A source who does not want to be named told Daily Trust that the Nigerian president is considering a senior officer from the southeast to correct the alleged imbalance in the composition of his security team.
