News about his vaccination was first made public by the Duke's official social media pages.
In an Instagram post seen by Legit.ng, Prince William had his arm prepared to get the life-saving jab.
William had his blue sweater pulled up to expose his bicep so the doctor could hit him with the vaccine.
The photo was followed by a caption that read;
"On Tuesday I received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Royal biographer says Prince Harry's titles should be revoked
If the Duke of Sussex is to continue “indulging his personal beliefs” and potentially “damaging the institution of the monarchy” he must give up his title, royal biographer Lady Colin Campbell has claimed.
Prince Harry has delivered a number of bombshell revelations about the Royal Family while over in the USA, where he now resides with his wife, Meghan Markle.
But a campaign organised by Lady Colin to take away Prince Harry’s royal title could see some serious repercussions for the Prince, with the lengthy petition already reaching 50,000 signatures on Change.Org.
