Stanley Ogieriakhi, a Nigerian man who returned from Libya after losing his sight, has disclosed that his wife left him because he came home blind.

Speaking with Legit TV, Stanley said he lost his sight as a result of the assault he experience when he got to Libya. According to the Nigerian, he alongside others were detained and beaten.

Stanley said their captors would ask them to call people that could send them money from Nigeria or Europe. According to him, anyone who doesn't have people to call will be tortured or killed.

In his words:

Stanley advised Nigerians against illegal migration, saying the consequence is always dire.

Emphasising the danger of travelling illegally, he said people who embark on such a journey either lose their lives or experience hell.

In similar news, a Nigerian lady identified as Sola Babatunde shared the terrible experience she had in Libya.

Speaking with Legit TV, the 28-year-old lady said she was abandoned by her boyfriend because she refused to sleep with him.

According to Sola, she was taken to Libya by road and employed as a maid. She said she was asked to pay back the N500,000 travel expenses, adding that she paid the money for one and a half years.
